TICKET TERMS & POLICY CONDITIONS

These Ticket Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase and use of tickets for ground transport services through the IntercityNG platform. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to comply with these Terms and any subsequent amendment(s).

1. Ticket Validity

1.1 Tickets purchased entitles only the passenger named on the ticket to board the specified vehicle.

1.2 Tickets are non-transferable.

1.3 Tickets are only valid for the day of travel as specified in the ticket.

1.4 Tickets are valid only if full payment for the ticket has been completed.

2. Cancellation and Refunds

2.1 Tickets may be cancelled, and refunds issued in accordance with our cancellation and refund policies.

2.2 Refund Policy:

  • If a refund is requested more than 48 hours before departure, a full refund to the customer's IntercityNG wallet is possible less 5% processing fee where refund is to be transferred to a Bank account.
  • If a refund is to be transferred to a bank account, a 5% processing fee will be applied.
  • Refunds requested between 12 hours to 48 hours of the travel departure time will result in a partial refund of 50% of the paid amount to the customer's IntercityNG wallet and a 5% processing fee will be applied where refund is to be transferred to a Bank account.
  • No refunds shall be made with less than 12 hours to the departure time.

2.3 For approved refund requests, the refund will be processed and paid out to the original payment method within 5 working days from the date of approval of the refund request.

3. Baggage Allowance

3.1 The baggage policy of the respective Service Provider shall supersede and take precedence over any other provisions herein.

3.2 Under our standard policy, no baggage allowance is included with any ticket purchase. Passengers are permitted to bring a single small personal item, such as a handbag or backpack, which must be capable of being retained by the passenger within the cabin of the vehicle. This personal item must not exceed the spatial confines of the passenger's seat and must not cause any inconvenience to other passengers. Furthermore, this item shall not be stowed in the vehicle's luggage area.

3.3 Any additional baggage beyond the specified personal item shall be subject to the fees and conditions imposed by the Service Provider. Passengers are strongly advised to verify and adhere to the baggage policies of the respective Service Provider prior to travel.

4. Passenger Conduct

4.1 Passengers are expected to conduct themselves appropriately during the journey, respecting other passengers and the service provider's staff.

4.2 IntercityNG and its partners reserve the right to refuse service or remove passengers who engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior

5. Schedule Changes

5.1 Schedules are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. IntercityNG will make reasonable efforts to inform passengers of any changes.

5.2 Users/Passengers agree that IntercityNG shall not be responsible for any missed connections or events due to delays or schedule changes.

6. Seat Reservations

6.1 While IntercityNG endeavors to honor seat preferences, seat assignments are subject to change based on operational requirements.

6.2 Passengers are encouraged to arrive early to ensure preferred seating.

7. Travel Documents

7.1 Passengers are responsible for ensuring they possess all necessary travel documents, including identification and any required permits.

7.2 IntercityNG shall not bear liability for any consequences resulting from the passenger's failure to provide valid travel documents.

8. Special Requests

8.1 Passengers with special requests, including those with disabilities, are encouraged to contact IntercityNG in advance for assistance.

8.2 IntercityNG will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests but cannot guarantee fulfillment in all cases. IntercityNG shall not bear liability for failure or refusal to accommodate any special request(s).

9. Policy Changes

IntercityNG reserves the right to change these policies at its own discretion. It is the responsibility of the user to review the Terms periodically for updates. Users agree that IntercityNG is not bound to communicate to or notify Users of such revision, amendment or modification to these Ticket Terms and Policy conditions.

10. Governing Law

These Ticket Terms and Policy conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
